In every aspect of its operations, ThermiSol Oy takes into consideration the principles of sustainable development as well as environmental, health, and safety requirements. The product development criteria include not only meeting quality and customer expectations but also considering the impact that its products and their use have on the environment.

In accordance with its operation policies, ThermiSol Oy has set quality and environmental targets for its daily operations that are continuously monitored by the group’s management. The principle of continuous improvement is also applied to quality and environmental issues – once an environmental or quality target has been met, a more challenging one is set.

DNV has granted certification to ThermiSol, demonstrating that its system of operation meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 quality management standard, ISO 14001:2004 environmental management standard, and OHSAS 18001:2007 occupational health and safety standard. The quality management system was adopted in 1997 and the environmental management system the year after that. Expansion of the system of operation, which also addresses occupational health and safety matters, was certified in the autumn of 2005.

ThermiSol Oy’s objective is to be transparent in its operations and systematically gather feedback from both customers and other stakeholder groups concerning its products and operations. Feedback is gathered from daily contacts as well as via various customer surveys and co-operative efforts with stakeholder groups – for example, at open houses for people living near factories.
